Strawberry Vanilla "Nana-cream" (Free of Top 12 allergens & more!)
I can’t believe I’m saying this, but this may be my FAVORITE recipe yet. Our whole family is literally obsessed, and now that the weather is starting to warm up, I’ve been craving this on the daily!
Here are a few reasons why we are so in love:
It only takes FOUR ingredients. FOUR.
It’s healthy “ice-cream”, so it’s a completely guilt-free afternoon snack (Praise Him)
It’s the perfect treat for those sick days. My daughter has been extremely sick this past week and refusing to eat, but the one thing I could count on was her eating her “ice-cream” :)
It’s absolutely delicious! The consistency is almost identical to regular ice-cream, so you can even scoop it into a cone to trick yourself that you’re eating it.
3 frozen chopped bananas
1/3 Cup ripple milk (or any dairy-free milk of choice will work)
2/3 Cup frozen strawberries
1 tsp vanilla
Throw all of the ingredients into your mixer (vitamix will work best). Blend until you reach the ice-cream consistency that you so desire. And voila! You have homemade “ice-cream”. You can also put any extra, in a freezer-safe container, into the freezer to save for a treat for another day.
